Guests Embarks on Art Tour in Victoria Harbour
HKTB Strives to Enrich Business Travel Experience for MICE Visitors

Riding on the various international MICE and art and cultural events happening in town, the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) capitalises on the “Arts in Hong Kong” promotions to offer more than 100 guests of the “WOW Summit Hong Kong 2024” and “Fortune Innovation Forum” special art and cultural experiences, including a giveaway of tickets to M+ and Hong Kong Palace Museum. Also, last week, HKTB curated art tours in Victoria Harbour for about 30 guests with the “Arts in Hong Kong Harbour Tour”. The guests took a ride in Victoria Harbour to immerse themselves in Hong Kong’s metropolitan glamour and art and cultural appeal, which offers a new perspective of the city’s rich art ambience and enriches MICE visitors’ business travel experience. The guests expressed their amazement towards Hong Kong’s diverse culture and appeal and looked forward to revisiting the city again. 

The “Arts in Hong Kong Harbour Tour” guests first visited the Tsim Sha Tsui Harbourfront and took photos in front of the famous clock tower. They then boarded the traditional Chinese junk Dukling to enjoy the world-renowned Victoria Harbour skyline. Under the docent of the tour guide on board, the guests learned more about Hong Kong’s cultural infrastructure including the Hong Kong Cultural Centre, Hong Kong Museum of Art, Xiqu Centre, M+ and the Hong Kong Palace Museum, and enjoyed a viewing of the large-scale art installation Ephemeral in West Kowloon Cultural District and teamLab: Continuous in Central Harbourfront, feasting their eyes on the diverse art experiences along the coasts of Victoria Harbour. 

Ms Ana Solana, who came from Dubai, said Hong Kong has everything to offer, from natural scenery and gourmet to large-scale infrastructure. She also praised the friendliness of the locals and described Hong Kong as an artistic city, and the experience of admiring the beautiful scenery on board of the junk was amazing. She recommended visitors to enjoy cruising in the Harbour and visiting the large-scale art installations. 

Another visitor from Dubai, Mr Shahab Tavakol Shoar also pointed out that Hong Kong is full of traditional culture, historical heritage, natural scenery, as well as the comprehensive innovation technology. He loves Hong Kong very much and will visit again in the future.  

HKTB secured strong line-up of large-scale international MICE events for Hong Kong  
HKTB said that by securing more large-scale international MICE events for Hong Kong for the years to come, including Chainlink SmartCon 2024, a flagship event in innovative technology debuting in Hong Kong this year, Consensus 2025, the world’s longest-standing and influential crypto-currency and Web3 event, and other A-list events, further consolidating Hong Kong’s position as the “World’s Meeting Place”. The events will attract more MICE visitors to Hong Kong, while the HKTB will curate more characteristics activities to enrich their business travel experiences in Hong Kong to promote the city’s tourism appeal to the world.
